Acts 13:13-52 Therefore let it be known to you, my brothers, that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you (13:38) We are urged to Listen to the message from Israel’s history, to Recognise the Saviour Sent from God, and to Put our Faith in that Wonderful Saviour.
Acts 12:25 – 13:12 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them” (13:2)
1 John 5:13-21: John says of the Christian, the one who was born of God protects him and the evil one will not harm him (v.18b) We are reminded to have Confidence in prayer, Confidence in God’s protection from the world, and Confidence in the knowledge of God that Jesus the Son has given us.
